1.In what ways were the Qin and Han dynasties similar and different?
The difference between both dynasties is that the Qin believed in Legalism while the Han believed in Confucianism. The Han had less strict punishments while the Qin had harsh ones. Both dynasties expanded China. They also had the same kind of rules to control their people.

He believed in a strong central legalist government to protect the country. If anyone was against legalism he would execute them. He took land away from noble families to strengthen his power. He built highways and irrigation projects to link land together. He also set government standards like weights, measurements, coins, and writing. He did this to make trade in china easier.
3. Why was the ruler Wudi important in the achievements of the Han dynasty?
He made many military conquests, and brought southern Chinese provinces, northern Vietnam, and Northern Korea. He also chased nomadic invaders out of China. Under his rule, he made China almost as big as it is today.

Shi Huangdi used legalism for his rule of China. This affected his rule because the people hated him and wanted to overthrow him. So he imprisoned all the other noble families. It caused the people to resist him so he had to force them to obey with punisments.
3. Why was the ruler Wudi important in the achievements of the Han dynasty?
Because his military conquests let him expand China to its size today. He also kept order in China.
4. Why were Shi Huangdi's efforts to unify China important? Because it gave China a ruler and drove away invaders from China. He helped set the base for modern China and set an economic and educational base for it too.
