a reply to manu's reply:
you have a lot of good solutions that, if put into effect, would help cut down on the pollution. though, you said that cars and bikes give off large amounts of pollution. true for the cars, but..... bikes?? a bicycle emits NO pollutants. other that carbon dioxide from our breath, which is not even worth mentioning......
but good reply^^

So LONNNNNGGG When I read this article, it took me a while to adjust to the severity of China’s pollution crises. Not only is China damaging its nation, but many neighboring countries like Japan and Korea, with acid rain showering down upon them. The damage China is doing to there environment almost seems cruel to their people, with water supplies being undrinkable and the air being so unclean and practically dangerous that is it has made cancer the leading death cause in China, so why isn’t the Chinese government doing more about it?
A particularly interesting quote in this article really shocked me stating that “1% of China’s 560 million people breath air considered safe.” That’s really shocking for me because I lived in China or 7 years of my life and I never really realized how dangerous it was to actually walk out on to the street and live normally on a daily basis, risking my health just to live in China, so it was really eye awakening for me.
China seems to be focusing too much on their businesses and money than the environment that they are endangering.
The pollution in China now seems to be disrupting there ability to develop more which seems almost impossible for China because they seemed to be progressing really well until recently, so why wouldn’t China try harder to stop this pollution crises and progress in to the future as a Developing Nation? Or tragically end in disaster?
China better think of a solution quickly because disaster seems to be creeping in to the country very swiftly.

C.E-Sept-10 Pollution Reaches Deadly Extreme
As I read through this long, long article, it didn’t surprise me one little bit about the amount of pollution China had made. With the chance to experience living in China myself, I did notice that I could never see the sky. It was always packed full of toxic pollution that was killing thousands of people every year. Why have they now just justified that there’s a problem that needs solving? This has been going on for decades and China has not tried to enforce any solution to solve the damages that has been created. Water is undrinkable and farming land has been turned into desert because there isn’t enough clean and suitable water to satisfy farming land. The pollution has practically destroyed most of China’s resources and is affecting Chinas environment dramatically.
China’s Businesses have become so successful that they have neglected the thought of what damage there producing by making their products. The pollution that had originated from China is now sailing all over the world. They are making their businesses more important than their environment and their people, with the effects being felt all over the world.
The pollution is affecting the nation to develop. It is costing a lot of money each year to cover the costs that pollution has made. I think the most shocking thing in the article was that only 1% of China’s population is breathing Healthy air! How could this happen? Practically everyone in China is at risk of getting cancer or other illnesses. The pollution from China will make the whole world exposed to deadly diseases if a solution is not found soon.
